Roleta Russa is not only 100% Baga, but also 100% William Wouters, founder of the popular Antwerp-based restaurant Pazzo. Filipa gave him carte blanche, and the result is a lively wine with a Belgian twist.The funny little guy on the label may look familiar to you. Marc Legendre, a good friend of William's and creator of the Biebel comic series, drew a fitting sketch for him with his main character on the cover.
The name Roleta Russa, as you probably guessed, comes from Russian roulette. William chose this name because the "birth" did not always go smoothly and he sometimes feared that it would be win or lose. Fortunately, we can assure you that this wine is absolutely and definitively a win! This Rosé de Saignée Extra Brut sparkling wine is rich in taste and has a vinous terroir character which makes it particularly suitable to be served with food.
The Colour is intense deep rosé, fine velvety bubbles and creamy mousse. Dried red berry fruits/raspberry along with chalk on the nose - you are expecting somewhat dry flavors. The flavors are intense red berries. Hint of dark rose petals, peppery spices and dry red berry minerals length.
