Miguel Silva Baga 2021
Region: Bairrada
Producer: Miguel Silva
This vineyard is located between the Serra do Buçaco and the Atlantic Ocean, the Rio Vouga and Rio Mondego rivers. As a result, that maritime influence creates freshness, a salty touch and very pronounced acidity. The 2021 Miguel Silva Baga mixes notes of dry rose petals with some earthy undertones, giving it a combination of elegance and rusticity that is very appealing. It has a medium-bodied palate with dry tannins. The grapes come from two small plots of unknown age (but definitely centenary) and is mainly Baga but with some 2% other varieties-Tinta Pinheira, Moreto, Maria Gomes and Bical.
