Terrenus Vinhas Velhas Reserva tinto 2017
Region: Alentejo
Producer: Rui Reguinga
For Terrenus Reserva, Rui uses the grapes from his most iconic vineyard, 700m high in the mountains of São Mamede.He found the old vineyard in the early 2000s in the middle of a nature reserve and was immediately sold. The bush vines are a mix of white and blue varieties, most from the north of Portugal as the vineyard was planted by immigrants who brought the vines with them.
Dark ruby red color. Very intense and complex on the nose;
notes of dark fruits, balsamic and spicy wood. Good structure, very
ripe and supple tannins, nice acidity, long aftertaste.
